How to Enroll in Courses Hosted by a 4-Year College or University
For those requesting college credit courses, view the course and then click on the "Send Inquiry to Provider" link displaying in the "Select" field next to the course title. This link will load an inquiry form which you'll need to complete. Once submitted, the KYVC will automatically forward your request to be enrolled to the school/agency hosting the course. You will need to wait for a response from the school’s distance learning coordinator in order to begin the actual enrollment process.
Learn Anytime Participants
For the for-credit courses/programs associated with Learn Anytime, you can request enrollment online directly through KYVC. Simply add the course to your Educart, and select "View My Educart" to begin the enrollment process.
How to Enroll in Courses Hosted by the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS)
If you are seeking enrollment into courses from your "home college," you should apply to that college directly. (A "home college" refers to the KCTCS college where you have applied and have been accepted. Your home college advises you, bills you, provides your grades/transcripts, maintains your financial aid paperwork and confers earned credentials.)
If you are seeking enrollment in courses from a school other than your home college or are not currently enrolled in a KCTCS college, you will need to send an enrollment inquiry to the appropriate school. To do so, view the course and click on the "Send Inquiry to Provider" link displaying in the "Select" field next to the course title. This link will load an inquiry form which you'll need to complete. Once submitted, the KYVC will automatically forward your request to be enrolled to the KCTCS school hosting that course. You will need to wait for a response from that school's admission's office in order to begin the actual enrollment process.
How to Enroll in Courses for State Government Agency Employees
For many professional training courses/programs associated with state government employee training, you can request enrollment online directly through KYVC. Simply add the course to your Educart, and select "View My Educart" to begin the enrollment process.
