KYVC Committees and Workgroups
KYVC is guided by a statewide collaboration of efforts. In a variety of ways, the groups listed below
help to shape the services and direction of KYVC.
KYVC Coordinators act as liaisons between KYVC and the colleges, universities or other institutions
which serve as KYVC Providers. Located on-site at the individual campuses or agency offices, coordinators
serve as the central contact for the management and coordination of KYVC activities within the institution.
When students request enrollment into courses offered by KYVC Providers, they have immediate access
to the KY Virtual Library's electronic databases. Each academic provider, whether K-12 or postsecondary,
has identified a library contact who supports students who register via the KYVC.
The Kentucky Virtual Library has a full complement of committees and workgroups that sustain its
phenomenal success and help craft new directions in emerging technologies for libraries and library resources.
DLAC developed the KYVC Principles of Good Practice
and guided the development of the original pilot projects for KYVC. For more information on the
historical role of DLAC, visit the webpages on Our Story and
